Philosophy

Grand Master Choi teaches that true martial arts is not just about kicking and punching but rather his two main philosophies. Justice, pronounced "chung-ee" in Korean, is about defending what you truly believe to be the right thing as well as protecting people that can not protect themselves. Justice is all about being honest to yourself and others as well as treating people with the respect they earn.

Perseverance, pronounced "in-aee" in Korean, is Grand Master Choi's second philosophy. Perseverance means to never give up. Not only can this apply to martial arts training, but it can also apply to all aspects of your life. To become successful in life just like in martial arts requires a winning attitude and a drive to be your best. Not everyone can be the best at everything, but if we pick and choose our battles and never give up, we can become the best we can.
